Crystal S. Denlinger is Chief Executive Officer of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), one of the most reputable global nonprofit alliances dedicated to improving and standardizing cancer care. She assumed the CEO role in October 2023, after serving in senior scientific leadership positions including Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer. Dr Denlinger oversees NCCN’s programs, including the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology, widely recognized as the gold standard for evidence-based cancer treatment, as well as initiatives in research, quality improvement, health equity, and patient access.
Prior to NCCN, Dr Denlinger was a cancer specialist and leader at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she directed survivorship and gastrointestinal oncology programs. She has extensive experience in clinical guideline development, quality initiatives, and implementation science, contributing to the translation of research into improved patient care. Dr Denlinger serves on NCCN guideline panels and national oncology boards, strengthening NCCN’s global impact on cancer care standards and policy, and reflecting her leadership in advancing evidence-based, high-quality oncology practices.
