At the World Cancer Congress 2026, Cancer Council Victoria’s Todd Harper and Charissa Feng, alongside The World Hepatitis Alliance International Liver Cancer Movement, joined partners from around the world to champion greater collaboration between the cancer, hepatitis and liver health sectors.
Listen to Todd and Charissa in conversation with President-elect of Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, on why collaboration across sectors is essential to accelerating progress on liver cancer prevention and hepatitis elimination.”
Quoting Todd Harper:
“Today I spoke with the President-elect of Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu about the importance of hepatitis elimination in liver cancer control in Africa, and globally.
We were joined by Charissa Feng to talk about the opportunities to reduce liver cancer.
Cancer Council Victoria is partnering with The World Hepatitis Alliance International Liver Cancer Movement to beat liver cancer and hepatitis together.
Hepatitis elimination is liver cancer control and there is so much we can do to reduce this deadly cancer together.”
