Andrew Forrest is an Australian business leader and philanthropist whose work has contributed to cancer research and health innovation through large-scale philanthropy and impact investment. He is Founder of the Minderoo Foundation which supports medical research, human health initiatives, and translational science, including investments relevant to cancer prevention, systems innovation, and emerging medical technologies.
Through Tattarang, Australia’s largest private investment group, he has supported ventures in medical technology and health innovation with applications across oncology and chronic disease. Dr. Forrest was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to philanthropy and is a member of the Giving Pledge.
