Amanda Pullinger Highlights Meeting With Gastric Cancer Surgeon Jae-Ho Cheong in Seoul

Amanda Pullinger, Chief Executive Officer at Debbie’s Dream Foundation, shared on LinkedIn:

“One of the reasons why showing up in-person is so important is because you end up meeting some fascinating people along the way.

Such was the case during my all-too-brief visit to Seoul, S. Korea, last week.

I was recently introduced via an online introduction from Tae Hyun Hwang to Jae-Ho Cheong, who is Senior Vice President, Office of Yonsei Science Park Project; Dean, Institute for Convergence Research and Education in Advanced Technology (iCREATE); Director, Yonsei Quantum Initiative; Professor of Surgery at Yonsei University College of Medicine.

Jae-Ho is a well-respected gastric cancer surgeon and researcher, so it made total sense for me to meet him while I was in Seoul.

What I didn’t expect was to be treated to a phenomenal Korean meal, and to spend the evening engaged in a far-reaching conversation that spanned so many different topics.

Thank you Jae-Ho for such a lovely evening.

I will be interviewing Jae-Ho for the upcoming Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer International Men’s Day series, so stay tuned for that!”
