Yaik Ho, Head of Strategy, Oncology Data Science & AI at AstraZeneca, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m pleased to share that I have moved into a new leadership position as Head of Strategy, Oncology Data Science & AI at AstraZeneca.
For the last 10 years at AstraZeneca, I have had the privilege of leading the Competitive Intelligence team through a period of incredible pipeline growth and success and seen the power of deploying the right insight, derived from the right data, at the right time to influence strategic decision-making – all with the goal of one day eliminating cancer as a cause of death.
It is no surprise, then, that I believe the next step-change in oncology will be driven by AI. Pharma is not exempt from the transformative nature of this technology, from reasoning models transforming our workflows to unlocking the potential of multimodal foundation models to transform clinical development, it is a change I think will happen over the next 2-3 years (if not before).
I’m humbled to be working alongside my colleagues here, and elsewhere in the industry (pharma & tech), and am looking forward to discovering ways we can reshape oncology for patients.”
