“We’re excited to welcome a new Associate Editor to the Blood Advances team, Steven Lane.
Dr. Lane is a clinical hematologist and researcher in a major teaching hospital in Brisbane, Australia, the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, as well as running a busy research group at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.
His research interest focuses on the myeloid blood cancers, AML, MDS, and MPN. Combining molecular and cell biology techniques with access to translational sample analysis, he seeks to discover new treatment options for patients with blood cancers. These findings have been leveraged into prospective clinical trials to improve outcomes for patients.
