Simran Gill, US Medical Director (Associate) GU Oncology at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, shared on LinkedIn:
“This week, I’m incredibly excited to have started a new chapter with J&J, joining the US Oncology Medical Affairs team.
After more than 9.5 years with J&J UK, leaving a place and people I’ve come to call my second home has been bittersweet. It’s where I’ve grown professionally, found my passion for GU oncology, and had the privilege of working alongside truly incredible people and build an incredible bladder team.
I’m especially grateful for John Fleming, Shruti Sweeney, Marianne Paterson for supporting and championing my journey in the UK, Astrid Rijken- Knol for your mentorship and unwavering belief in me,
Alessandro (Alex) dos Santos for continually challenging me to grow and think differently and Michael Kelleher, Claire Kavanagh for the Global GROW opportunity that broadened my perspective, challenged me and helped me prepare for this next step. You’ve been incredible leaders!
As I finish my first week, a huge thank you to Jaime Blais and the US team for an incredibly warm welcome. I already feel inspired by the people around me and excited by how much there is to learn and contribute.
I’m looking forward to embracing a new healthcare system, new perspectives and new opportunities to grow, while continuing to deepen my passion across bladder and prostate cancer.
Feeling energised, grateful and ready for what’s ahead – to keep learning, drive meaningful impact and, most importantly, make a difference for patients with GU cancers”
