“Delighted to welcome Prof Alexandre Chan back to the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) as our new Director of Cancer Survivorship and Wellness.
I have known Alex for nearly 20 years, since the early days when I first joined NCCS. It is wonderful to see his journey come full circle and to have him back with us, bringing with him tremendous experience and leadership in supportive care, survivorship and integrative oncology.
What makes this especially meaningful is that Alex will be leading an area he has been deeply passionate about throughout his career – improving the health, well-being and quality of life of people living with and beyond cancer.
Cancer Survivorship and Wellness is a new and much-needed initiative at NCCS, bringing together survivorship, rehabilitation and integrative oncology. I am very glad to have Alex leading its development and helping us build the next chapter of holistic cancer care at NCCS.
