Nicolaus Andratschke, Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at HOCH Health Ostschweiz, shared on LinkedIn:
“Now it’s real: today is my last day as Vice Chair at Universitätsspital Zürich after 12 years and 9 months.
I’m closing an extraordinary chapter and beginning a new one as Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at HOCH Health Ostschweiz in St. Gallen.
It was an amazing time during which I could learn, grow, innovate, and mentor—within an incredible team.

I’m grateful to Matthias Guckenberger for shaping an environment where these opportunities were possible. I’m leaving behind an outstanding leadership team with Panagiotis Balermpas, Stephanie Tanadini-Lang, Lotte Wilke, Sophie Perryck, Katerina Nilo and Hilty Brigitte.
I’m also delighted to remain affiliated with the University of Zurich, and I look forward to continuing collaborations with my dear research colleagues Jonas Willmann, Sebastian M. Christ, Maiwand Ahmadsei, Reinhardt Krcek, Lena Kretzschmar, Jennifer Rogenmoser, Serena Psoroulas, Jan Unkelbach, Caroline Hertler and Simona Passerini.
Thank you all for this incredible journey and follow me for what to come next.”
