Lung Cancer Europe thanks their president for outstanding leadership
Lung Cancer Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As Anne-Marie Baird’s mandate as Lung Cancer Europe President comes to a close, we thank her for her outstanding leadership and lasting impact on our community.
‘It is fitting that my last AGM and GA as LuCE President is in Germany. It was at a meeting here that I first became part of this amazing organisation.
Serving as your President since 2020 has been a genuine privilege and honour. Seeing LuCE grow and evolve to what it is today fills me with immense gratitude, joy, and a deep, heartfelt pride. I am so thankful to have been on this journey with all of you – an experience I will always remember.
The people, the shared purpose, the incredible community – you have all left an enduring impact on me as we work together to improve the lives of those impacted by lung cancer.
Here’s to the continued evolution of LuCE, and the realisation of equity in access to lung cancer care irrespective of socioeconomic status or geographical location. Be a light in the community because everyone at risk of, or impacted by, lung cancer matters.’
Anne-Marie Baird
Lung Cancer Europe President
2020-2025.”
