Kavita Sharma, Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, shared a post on X:
“With deep gratitude and honor I will be embarking on a new role as Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medicine as of January 2026.
Hopkins has been home since 2007—first as a trainee in the Osler Medical Residency program, to now 10th year on faculty at Johns Hopkins Cardiology.
Profoundly thankful to mentors, colleagues, and teams for their support, guidance, and trust over the years. Grateful for patients who allow us the privilege of caring for them and who continue to inspire our work every day. Most of all, grateful for Pravin Rao and our families, for their unwavering support.
Looking forward to collaborating with and learning from amazing colleagues – the best of the best – in advancing patient care, quality, and program building at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, with gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead.”
