Jennifer Child, Former Organisational Development Consultant at Essex County Council, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“After just over 5 and a half years, tomorrow is my last day at Essex County Council. I have really enjoyed my time at ECC, where I had the opportunity to work with wonderful people across a huge variety of teams and services. I will always be grateful for the opportunities ECC gave me, enabling me to take my squiggly career path into Organisational Development and supporting me to do my Level 7 qualification and become a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
I’ve worked with some fantastic people over the years and will miss you all – but the time has come for something new…
I am so excited to say that after a couple of weeks break I will be joining Cancer Research UK (CRUK) – an incredible organisation that I feel truly honoured to say I am going to be a part of. I’ve been lucky enough to meet most of the team a couple of weeks ago and can already feel the buzz of great things to come.
But for now, it’s time to enjoy my last couple of days working within local government, with all its quirks, it’s been great to have played my part in delivering for the people of Essex.”
