“I’m thrilled to share that I’m starting a new position as Director, Lead, Medical Science Liaison at Foundation Medicine!
The ‘cherry on top’ graphic below is apropos, as I have spent a quarter of a century in Pharma and Biotech Medical Affairs. This move to Cancer Genomics is the perfect way for me to gain perspective and use my skills in a patient-centric setting. And the team! Incredible!!

Jane Varian is the Director and Lead Medical Science Liaison at Foundation Medicine and serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for Saratoga Shredders. She specializes in hematology/oncology, with expertise in medical affairs, corporate affairs, advocacy, and patient engagement. She was previously the Director of Medical Science Liaison at Protagonist Therapeutics.
