“I’m excited for my friend Russell Weiner as he enters this next phase of leadership and his career with our great partner, Domino’s.
Simply put, Russell has led with heart. I’ve seen first hand how much he cares for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which comes through in how he has led our partnership for which we are so grateful. Russell led Domino’s in its historic $300 million commitment to St. Jude back in 2024, the largest corporate or private financial commitment to a children’s hospital in history.
Just two weeks ago, he was on our campus and he didn’t have to be. Russell has been, and I know will continue to be, a friend, mentor, and advisor.
I’ll close with one of my favorite Russell memories: In 2023, when we opened The Domino’s Village housing facility at St. Jude, he came to the lectern with a prepared speech. He set it aside, apologized to his speechwriter, and spoke from the heart – what St. Jude means to him, to his family, and to Domino’s. It moved everyone in the room.
Russell, we’ll forever be grateful for you and your leadership.”
