Hadieh Eslampanah: Honored to have been Featured as a Member Spotlight on UICC Connect

Hadieh Eslampanah, Director of International Development and Communications Department at MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I’m honored to have been featured as a Member Spotlight on UICC Connect, following an in-depth interview about my professional journey and work within the cancer care, breaking barriers, advocating for greater diversity and representation in health and influential initiatives leadership.

During the interview, I reflected on my career path, from earning my PhD in Medical Biotechnology and Cancer Drug Targeting to transitioning into International Development and Communications. As a woman in a field where leadership roles are still under-represented, I’ve always been driven by a desire to create an impact in global healthcare and advocate for those who need it most.

A rewarding experience to me by global health initiatives, partnerships, effective communications and being able to make complex information accessible to diverse communities, development strategic-based transformations at MAHAK multifunctional institute that focus on childhood cancer patients, survivors, their families, and caregivers.

The challenges we face in middle-east are many, but the reward lies in knowing that our efforts directly contribute to improving lives.

Grateful to UICC and in particular Serena Forni, for an enriching experience to share my insights and connect with like-minded professionals dedicated to improving cancer care worldwide.
