“Nomination / Appointment
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Suzette Delaloge as the new President of the Institut national du cancer (INCa).
INCa was established in 2004, as part of the first Cancer Plan (2003–2007), to coordinate efforts in prevention, care, and research.
Biography: Dr Delaloge is a Medical Oncologist and Researcher, holding a Doctorate of Medicine and a Master of Science. She is a specialist in breast cancer and cancer prevention and practices within the department of Medical Oncology at Gustave Roussy.
She led the breast cancer group at Gustave Roussy from 2004 to 2021. In 2021, Suzette was appointed Director of the Interception program, to develop personalized prevention of cancer in France.
In 2019, she was named ‘Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur’ by the French Government.
She received the Jean Bernard Prize in 2025, from Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale.
Dr Delaloge is the author of more than 370 peer-reviewed international publications, and has delivered over 900 presentations at international conferences.”
