Reappointed for a new five-year term, he will continue the transformations undertaken in the service of a strong ambition: to accelerate progress in the fight against cancer, to promote the emergence and development of innovations that will shape the oncology of tomorrow, and to strengthen the international influence of Gustave Roussy, the 1st cancer center in France, the 1st center in Europe and one of the very first centers in the world.

To which Fabrice Barlesi, Chief Executive Officer of Gustave Roussy, added:
“It is a great honour to continue leading Gustave Roussy for a further five-year term.
I would like to thank Ms. Stéphanie Rist, Minister for Health, Families, Autonomy and People with Disabilities, for the trust she has placed in me.
Above all, this reappointment reflects a shared vision, brought to life every day by the teams at Gustave Roussy for the benefit of patients.
Together, we will continue the transformations already under way to accelerate progress in the fight against cancer, foster the innovations that will shape the future of oncology, and strengthen our Institut’s international standing.
