Georgios Giamas, Professor of Cancer Cell Signalling at Zhejiang University of Chinese Medical, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am delighted to announce that I will be assuming the role of Editor-in-Chief of Oncogene from January 2026. It is both an honor and a profound privilege to lead a journal with such a distinguished legacy, and I embrace this responsibility with great commitment.

I look forward to collaborating with Co-Editor-in-Chief Joe Kissil, Deputy Editor Chris Parris, the dedicated editorial team, and the global research community to advance Oncogene’s position as a leading forum in oncology.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Justin Stebbing and George Miller for their exceptional stewardship of the journal over the past decade. Their contributions have been invaluable.

Moving forward, our focus will be on championing cutting-edge, interdisciplinary cancer research. We are dedicated to attracting the highest quality submissions from laboratories worldwide by upholding a review process that is rigorous, fair, and efficient.”
