ESTRO Elections 2026: Who Will Lead the Future of Radiation Oncology?

The ESTRO Elections 2026 are officially underway, with voting open from 7 April to 7 May 2026. This pivotal moment for the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology invites members to shape the Society’s future by electing its next President-Elect and Board Members.

This year’s elections will determine one President-Elect, who will embark on a six-year leadership journey—serving as President-Elect (2026–2028), President (2028–2030), and Past-President (2030–2032). Two candidates are standing for this key role. In addition, members will elect two Board Members for the 2026–2029 term (renewable once), with four candidates competing for these seats.

Voting will take place through a secure, secret electronic ballot sent directly to eligible members’ inboxes. Elections are decided by a simple majority of valid votes cast.
