Dr. Alexandra Müller has joined the board of directors of The Institute of Cancer and Crisis – ICC

“It is an honor to inform you that Dr. Alexandra Müller has joined the board of directors of The Institute of Cancer and Crisis (ICC).
Dr. Alexandra Müller is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist at the University Children’s Hospital in Freiburg, Germany. In March 2022, Dr. Müller joined the SAFER Ukraine Initiative led by St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital to serve as an operational MD at the SAFER triage hub in Poland.
As an operational MD, Dr. Müller was responsible for the safe international allocation of pediatric hematology and oncology patients to European and North American hospitals. Since May 2022, Dr.Müller has become the Medical Director of the SAFER Ukraine Initiative.
In addition to her responsibility for the international evacuation network, in this position, Dr. Müller is also the principal investigator of SAFER FOCUS, an international study designed to assess outcomes from Ukrainian children with cancer affected by war.”
