Disha Sawhney, System Director for Strategic Initiatives at Medical University of South Carolina, shared on LinkedIn:
“After 4 incredible years, I’m closing a meaningful chapter at Fox Chase Cancer Center and, with an equally full heart, to Philly.
These past four years have been filled with growth, meaningful work, challenges that shaped me, and most importantly people who made the journey so special. It’s been wonderful working alongside my clinical directors Sanjay S. Reddy and Mark Hallman.
I’m so going to miss my YAP Team – Chris, Anjali, Mark, Tuck and Devora.
And then there’s Philadelphia. Leaving this city is perhaps the hardest part. Some places become more than just a city they become a collection of memories, friendships, milestones, and people who leave an indelible mark on your life. Philadelphia has been that place for me, and I will carry so much of it with me wherever I go. While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, I’m also incredibly excited for what’s ahead.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be joining Medical University of South Carolina as their System Director for strategic Initiatives.
This next step represents an exciting opportunity to continue growing as a leader, contribute on a broader scale, and be part of an organization doing meaningful work in cancer care.
Here’s to the people who make the journey unforgetable, the places that become home, and the courage to embrace what comes next!”
