Deniz Razon, Chief Business Officer at Servier Pharmaceuticals, shared on LinkedIn:
“After eight remarkable years at Servier U.S., I am excited to begin a new chapter with Servier in Paris.
Early in my career, during my years at Baxalta, I imagined what it would be like to help build an oncology business capable of bringing truly transformative innovation to patients. Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of helping bring that vision to life alongside an extraordinary team, building a U.S. oncology business and portfolio that today exceeds $2 billion and, more importantly, has reached more than 10,000 patients.
But the numbers tell only part of the story.
What I will remember most are the people. I have had the opportunity to work alongside colleagues who are talented, strategic, collaborative and deeply committed to patients. Together, we launched medicines, forged transformative partnerships, built new capabilities, navigated complexity, learned from setbacks and celebrated some incredible successes. Along the way, I gained friendships and relationships that extend far beyond the workplace.
To everyone at Servier U.S., thank you. I am incredibly proud of what we built together and grateful for everything I learned from you along the way.
Now, I am looking forward to bringing those experiences to a broader stage. In my new regional role within World Operations, I will partner with colleagues across countries and functions to help advance Servier’s ambitions across strategic markets. I am particularly excited to help shape the next phase of growth for Oncology and Neurology, including in Japan, while leading high-impact regional initiatives that support Servier’s transformation through 2030.
This next chapter is also a personal adventure as we trade Boston for Paris and our son Boston for Alabama. We are excited for the experiences ahead, the people we will meet and the opportunity to build a life in a new part of the world. We are already grateful for the generosity, advice and encouragement we have received from friends in Paris as we prepare for the move.
Fortunately, this isn’t really goodbye. I look forward to continuing many of the relationships and partnerships that have meant so much to me, just from a different seat within the same mission-driven organization.
Deeply grateful for the journey so far and energized by what comes next.”
