David O’Malley Transitions to New Leadership Role at OSUCCC-James

Since 2005, Dr. David O’Malley has been a cornerstone of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute faculty, serving as a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology. In his previous role, he transformed the division into a premier clinical research program, leading numerous phase I trials and serving as the co-director of the gynecologic oncology phase I program.

Drawing on this extensive experience in drug development and trial execution, he has now transitioned into a broader leadership capacity as the Director of Translational and Clinical Research Partnerships and Leader of Clinical Trial Innovation to accelerate the delivery of next-generation therapies across the entire institution.

David O’Malley shared on LinkedIn:

“New role. Clear mission.

At the OSUCCC James, we are focused on innovation and building meaningful partnerships across industry and academic collaborators to expand access to next-generation therapies.

Let’s get to work!”
