Expanding Childhood Cancer Research Across Australia – Children’s Cancer Institute

Children’s Cancer Institute shared on LinkedIn:

Children’s Cancer Institute were delighted to welcome the Honorable Rebecca White, Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, Assistant Minister for Indigenous Health and Assistant Minister for Women to tour the incredible facilities at the Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

The Australian Government has contributed significant funding to our research over the years, particularly to the Zero Childhood Cancer Program (ZERO). Government support has been essential to enable ZERO’s growth, enabling its expansion to every Australian child diagnosed with cancer, and its further expansion to include young adults with paediatric-type cancers.

We are grateful for these important relationships and the interest and support the Assistant Minister has expressed for this work.”
