Bruce Haffty Joins ACR as the Chief Medical Officer for Radiation Oncology Research

“Congratulations to Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health‘s Dr. Bruce Haffty on being appointed as the Chief Medical Officer for Radiation Oncology Research with the American College of Radiology (ACR)!

Dr. Haffty will work closely with ACR staff, Radiation Therapy Oncology Group Foundation scientific leadership and industry partners to advance clinical research trials that will help shape the future of radiation oncology practice.

Dr. Haffty will continue in his roles as Associate Vice Chancellor for Cancer Programs at Rutgers Health and Professor of Radiation Oncology at both Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and New Jersey Medical School. He also remains the system director of radiation oncology for RWJBarnabas Health.”
