Brian Vesall Received the Jordan Jones Memorial Achievement Award for Advocacy and Leadership

Brian Vesall received the Jordan Jones Memorial Achievement Award at the Testicular Cancer Conference in San Diego, an event presented by Fennec Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Brian Vesall is a committed professional with a diverse career in supply chain management and a strong passion for cancer advocacy.

As a testicular cancer survivor, Brian is dedicated to supporting men and their families who are navigating similar challenges, serving as an Ambassador Volunteer for the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation since March 2024.

Drawing from his own experience, he provides vital support and guidance, offering advice, resources, and a listening ear to those affected by the disease. Brian’s approach is open and candid—he shares his personal journey to help others feel less alone, and his willingness to be vulnerable has made him a trusted and relatable figure in the cancer community.

His advocacy work is driven by a deep belief in the power of connection and support, encouraging those diagnosed with testicular cancer to reach out and access the help they need.

In addition to his advocacy, Brian has built a successful career in supply chain management.

He is currently a Buyer at Flagstone Foods in Minneapolis, MN, where he is responsible for sourcing ingredients and managing purchasing for the company. His role requires him to negotiate contracts, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure that production needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Prior to this, Brian worked as a Supply Chain Manager at ALUDEC USA, where he oversaw purchasing activities, developed procurement strategies, and led inventory control teams.

He also contributed to the implementation of an ERP system, enhancing the efficiency of the company’s operations.

Before his time at ALUDEC, Brian served as a Senior Buyer at Pearson’s Candy Company, managing the procurement of materials needed for candy production while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Outside of his professional work, Brian is also actively involved in the AHA Hockey community, where he has served as a Scorekeeper since 2011, managing time, stats, and helping create a fun, competitive atmosphere for adult recreational leagues.

Brian’s ability to balance a demanding career with his advocacy work and personal interests highlights his dedication, resilience, and desire to make a positive impact on both a professional and personal level.
