Arber Shehu Takes on New Role as Director of Global Partnerships in Lung Cancer at AstraZeneca

Arber Shehu, Director of Global Partnerships in Lung Cancer at AstraZeneca, shared on LinkedIn:

“I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new chapter at AstraZeneca, moving from U.S. Medical Affairs to Global Medical Affairs as Director, Global Partnerships, Lung Cancer.

I’ve always believed that every new level of growth requires a new platform to learn, contribute, and challenge yourself. After an incredibly meaningful chapter in U.S. Medical Affairs, I’m ready to bring that same passion and purpose to a global stage.

I’m deeply grateful to İlker Arslan, MD, MBA, Nabil Chehab, Yanique Rattigan-Brown, PhD and entire US lung team for their leadership, support, and the impact they’ve had on my journey at AstraZeneca in the US Medical Affairs.

I’m equally thankful to Sunil Verma for his mentorship and unwavering support, and grateful and excited to join Bob Li’s Global Medical Affairs organization and contribute to his vision for science, partnerships, and innovation to help transform global healthcare.

A special thank you to Shirin Ahmed, whose belief in me and guidance helped make this next chapter possible, to my new manager, Viraj Rajadhyaksha and the team, thank you for the warm welcome and support.

I leave an incredible team to join another, with much to learn and even more to contribute.

New platform. Global scale. Same purpose: transforming lung cancer care for patients around the world.”
