“I am very happy to share that I have joined ONA Therapeutics as Chief Medical Officer (CMO), at a particularly exciting moment as Ona advances as a clinical-stage company.
I have been close to Ona and its science for several years, and I strongly believe in its approach: starting from patients, understanding how cancers evolve under treatment pressure, and translating that biology into new therapies.
Seeing that science now reaching patients is incredibly rewarding. ONA-255, our lead first-in-class ADC program, is progressing through Phase 1 dose escalation, with more than half of the planned patients already enrolled, alongside a broader pipeline of next-generation ADCs.
This new role also connects three areas that I believe are essential to advancing precision oncology: patients and academic research, precision diagnostics, and drug development. At the Clínic Barcelona Comprehensive Cancer Center and our translational research lab, we start with patients and biology; at REVEAL GENOMICS, we translate biology into biomarkers; and at ONA Therapeutics, into new medicines.
These are not separate worlds. Ona and Reveal collaborate with each other and with leading academic institutions and research groups, creating an ecosystem that connects discovery, biomarkers, therapeutics and, ultimately, patients.
