Toufic Kachaamy: The first 10 years have been a remarkable journey, and I am eager to see what the future holds as we continue to work side by side.
Toufic Kachaamy, Enterprise Clinical Leader and Interventional Program Specialist at City of Hope, stated the following on LinkedIn:
“As I reflect on the past decade of my journey as a gastroenterologist taking care of the needs of cancer patients, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for each of you who have played an integral role in making these years an extraordinary success. Your unwavering support, dedication, and collaboration have been the driving force behind my growth and accomplishments.
To my patients and their caregivers, your trust in me to provide compassionate care has been both humbling and inspiring. Your strength and resilience remind me daily of the impact our work can have on lives. Your impact on our lives is of equal and sometimes greater significance. I learned from you not to take anything for granted. To live every day and saver the moment, not sweat the little things and to reflect on daily basis on the beautiful yet fragile life we live.
To my cherished family, your endless encouragement and understanding have been my foundation. Your sacrifices have allowed me to pursue my passion, and I am forever grateful for your steadfast love and support.
To the administrators and staff who tirelessly manage the operations of our medical practice, your dedication ensures a smooth environment in which we can all excel. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and I am grateful for your professionalism, dedication to the mission and to taking care of everyone so we can focus on being our best selves for the patients.
To all my colleagues, nurses, technicians, and support staff, you are the heartbeat of our healthcare service. Your collaboration, expertise, and camaraderie make the challenging moments more manageable and the triumphs even sweeter. I am proud to call you my work family. Your kindness, dedication and willingness to go above and beyond is inspiring to me and the patients. Our collective effort makes this job a calling that has never felt as work.
As I celebrate this milestone, I look back with pride on the lives we have touched and the positive changes we’ve brought about together. The first 10 years have been a remarkable journey, and I am eager to see what the future holds as we continue to work side by side.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Toufic”
