Hayk Grigoryan – elected as the next president of the Armenian Association of Hematology and Oncology

Gevorg Tamamyan shared on Facebook:

“I am happy to announce that Hayk Grigoryan was elected as the next president of the Armenian Association of Hematology and Oncology. He is the deputy director of Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, co-chairman of the Leukemia Working Group of the Immune Oncology Research Institute, and a prominent hematologist.

I am sure there is no need to introduce Hayk Grigoryan, either as an extremely kind and knowledgeable doctor or as a talented healthcare manager, and most importantly, as a wonderful person, friend, individual, and citizen of the Republic of Armenia. I am obliged to mention that as talented as Hayk Grigoryan is, as modest he is.

If I’m not mistaken, Bukowski said, ‘The misfortune of mankind is that intelligent people are too modest, and vice versa’.

I have told Hayk several times, half joking and half serious, that if we come to you for a medical board exam, we will definitely all fail it. I am sure that under the leadership of Dr. Grigoryan, the Armenian Association of Hematology and Oncology will continue its most important work with great success, the foundations of which have been firmly laid by the founding President of the Association, the Mentor of all of us, doctor Samvel Danelyan, and will record new heights, contributing to the development of hematology and oncology in Armenia. On behalf of our entire team, I sincerely wish you success, Hayk!

I also want to deeply thank the current president of the association, my good friend, oncologist, and simply a wonderful person and an excellent doctor Armen Avagyan, who in recent years, with the same modesty, but with great efficiency, led the association.

Armenia can be strong, first of all, with its human potential, and it is individuals like Hayk Grigoryan and Armen Avagyan who quietly, without making any noise, bring that development every day. Strong countries and people value their talents and are proud of their successes…”
