SIOP announced the election of Liz Sniderman and Arliette Sulikhanyan as Steering Group members of the SIOP Women Leaders Network. Our team at OncoDaily congratulates Liz Sniderman and Arliette Sulikhanyan on their success.
Liz Sniderman, MPH MSN NP CPHON, has been dedicated to pediatric oncology nursing since 2009, earning her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She’s served in various capacities, including as a nurse practitioner at Lurie Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Liz holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins University and has been actively involved in global health initiatives within SIOP and APHON. Currently, she works as a pediatric oncology nurse practitioner at Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Canada, and consults for St. Jude Global’s ARIA Guide and EURO Regional Programs.
Arliette Sulikhanyan’s academic journey includes a BS in Anthropology and Biology from UCLA, an MPH in Epidemiology from UC Davis, and completion of the Cal-EIS Research Fellowship at the California Department of Public Health. As a first-generation child of refugees, Arliette has been deeply involved in medicine, anti-racism, and global health initiatives, notably contributing to the Armenian Cancer Registry and conducting epidemiological assessments on Pediatric Leukemia. With aspirations in Hematology/Oncology, she aims to empower young women in global health and is excited to contribute her enthusiasm and fresh ideas to SIOP and the Women Leaders Network.
