“Not long ago, I received an email that every young oncologist imagines getting! It’s an incredible honor to share that I have been awarded
the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) International Development and Education Award (IDEA).
Huge thanks to the Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation for this recognition. It’s a major highlight in my journey as an early-career oncologist.
Gratitude to my seniors and teachers Davit Zohrabyan, Gevorg Tamamyan and S. Bardakhchyan for paving the way. You were the ones who inspired.
A special thanks to Dr Yelena Janjigian, for encouraging and supporting. I hope this marks the start of an exciting collaboration and mentorship.
I strongly believe in the power of education and science to change lives. Receiving the IDEA award is a big step on this path. Excited for what’s ahead in our journey towards bettering oncology and hope to make my own contribution.”
