“Thrilled to announce that I recently joined The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center as an assistant professor of medicine! Looking forward to working with new colleagues at The University of Chicago and across campus, and to exploring the city of Chicago!
A massive thank you to all my mentors and collaborators! I am especially grateful to Lawrence Kaza for his excellent guidance, constructive criticism, and for granting me an amiable atmosphere for carrying out my research. Getting to this stage would not have been possible without him.
I would like to thank Bruce Spiegelman, Vincent Giguère, Zach Gerhart-Hines, and Ed Chouchani for their valuable advice and for giving me the opportunity to collaborate with them. All the discussions we had helped me expand my knowledge in non-shivering thermogenesis among other topics.
In my daily work, I have been fortunate to work with incredible researchers. Thank you for providing a friendly working environment. I will never forget our stimulating discussions and all the fun we have had in the last five years!
