I will launch my career as an early phase clinical trialist and attending neuro-oncologist – Katherine Ryan
I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine!
DONE! I had my last graduation ever. 4yrs of college, 4yrs of med school, 3yrs of peds residency, 3yrs of peds heme onc, and 2 years of medical neuro-oncology (total of 16 years of education) and I’m finally an assistant professor attending physician in pediatric neuro/oncology and hematology/oncology. I am SO PROUD to be joining the amazing team at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford where I will launch my career as an early phase clinical trialist and attending neuro-oncologist alongside some MAJOR game changers in the field. LETS END CHILDHOOD CANCER. 🎗️
I would not have made it here to this point without my incredible mom, husband, FRAMILY, friends, mentors, and my Sinai & Duke Teams, and every single patient who has inspired me and encouraged me along this journey. I’m incredibly sad to leave NC as it has been our wonderful home the last 5 years- where we got married and bought our first house! But Mike and I couldn’t be more excited to move to California where we’re destined to be. 🌊🏄♀️🏔️🎿🥾🩺🤓❤️
Thank you so much to everyone who supported me in this adventure!! Whoohoo!!!
