With a background deeply rooted in cancer biology, Dr. Hazra has embarked on an inspiring journey, dedicating her expertise to promoting equity in breast cancer prevention, conducting groundbreaking research across diverse populations, and imparting her wisdom through teaching. Her impressive academic journey includes a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin, MD Anderson Cancer Center, a post-doctoral fellowship at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Program in Molecular and Genetic Epidemiology, and certifications in leadership from Harvard Business School and community cancer genetics from the City of Hope. Currently holding the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at HMX – Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs (VA) Boston, Dr. Hazra brings a wealth of insights and passion to our advisory board, fortifying our commitment to making a global impact on breast cancer prevention.
