Douglas Flora shared a post on LinkedIn by Afreen Shariff, adding:

“Exciting News!

I am thrilled to announce that Afreen Shariff, MD of the Duke Cancer Institute, is joining the editorial board of AI in Precision Oncology. Dr. Shariff is a national leader in the intersection of endocrinology and oncology, pioneering advancements in managing cancer therapy-related endocrine disorders.

As the Director of the Duke Endo-Oncology Program, Associate Director for the Cancer Therapy Toxicity Program at the Duke Center for Cancer Immunotherapy, and Chair of the Oncoendocrinology Special Interest Group with the Endocrine Society, she’s pushing the boundaries of how we integrate AI into clinical practice for improved patient outcomes.

Perfect timing: she was just interviewed for the Target Cancer podcast by another AIPO editor, Sanjay Juneja, M.D. These are two people who will be found. I’m so glad you two connected.

Both are inspiring leaders in Oncology, driving the crucial changes we need. I’m excited to tune in for the entire podcast episode. If you aren’t already following these guys, now’s the time—they deliver outstanding content!”
