“Lots of great science at the Gastroesophageal Cancer Therapeutics Accelerator (GCTA) Retreat yesterday hosted by out group at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I am energized and refreshed by the progress we have made as a group. International collaborators from three continents all with the common goal.
The GCTA mission is to accelerate the development of innovative therapies and improve patient outcomes by fostering collaboration and leveraging quantitative computing to expedite the discovery of new targets and drugs. Pushing the boundaries of gastric and esophageal cancer treatment and someday prevention. Daniela Molena, Vivian Strong, Samuel Klempner, Benjamin Greenbaum and many more.”
Yelena Janjigian is the Chief of Gastrointestinal Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She serves on the Steering Committee of the Giants of Cancer Care and is a member of the International Gastric Cancer Association Council. She is on the Editorial Board of OncoDaily. Her research and clinical practice improve treatment outcomes for GI malignancies. As an expert in esophageal and stomach cancers, she has led studies that set the standard of care.
