Aida Nkhoma Helps Children Understand Their Treatment With Xploro’s Games and 3D Tools – World Child Cancer USA
World Child Cancer USA shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Imagine being a child and hearing the words “you have cancer.” You don’t know what it means or what comes next.
That’s why World Child Cancer partnered with Xploro, an app designed specifically for children to help them understand their treatment.
With the support of Aida Nkhoma, a WCC play therapist in Malawi, children can explore what’s ahead using Xploro’s games, avatars, and immersive 3D tools.
They can ask questions like “What’s an x-ray?” – and get answers that help them feel more prepared, less anxious, and more in control.
This is what it means to be locally led and globally connected: pairing trusted local care with the best tools from around the world.”
