Recognizing the power of women in oncology – City Cancer Challenge
City Cancer Challenge shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In cities across the world, women scientists and oncologists are not just breaking barriers – they are building solutions. Take the nine women joining the second edition of our Leadership Programme for Women in Oncology (LPWO) this year.
They come from Nigeria, Peru, Chile, Malaysia, Ghana, Mexico, Kenya, Argentina, and Georgia, each bringing expertise, determination, and a shared vision: to transform cancer care through leadership.
This programme is more than a leadership course. It’s a movement. A movement to ensure that the future of oncology reflects the diversity of the patients it serves. A movement to strengthen women’s voices in decision-making. A movement that proves that when women lead, entire health systems improve.
On International Day of Women and Girls in Science, happening this week, we recognize the power of women in oncology and invite organizations that share our vision to join us. Let’s work together to ensure that progress in gender equity in science and healthcare continues, no matter the challenges ahead.
If your organization supports women in science and leadership, let’s connect. Together, we can drive real change.”
