Reshma Jagsi (born April 28, 1974) is an American radiation oncologist and the Lawrence W. Davis Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University, where she also serves as a Senior Faculty Fellow in the Center for Ethics. With over 450 peer-reviewed publications, her research focuses on breast cancer, bioethics, and gender equity, supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation, where she is a Senior Scholar.
Dr. Jagsi is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in breast cancer care. She has held leadership roles in numerous organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Steering Committee of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Women in Medicine and Science. Currently, she chairs the Ethics Committee and the Women in Radiation Oncology Group for the American Society for Radiation Oncology and serves on the NIH’s Board of Scientific Counselors and Advisory Committee for Research on Women’s Health, as well as the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine’s Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine.
Before joining Emory, Dr. Jagsi was the Newman Family Professor and Deputy Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan, where she also directed the Center for Bioethics and Social Sciences in Medicine.
Stephanie Graff is the Director of Breast Oncology at Brown University Health and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown University’s Legorreta Cancer Center. She also serves as the Director of Breast Oncology at Lifespan and is a Medical Advisor for the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.She is an Associate Editor of Cancer Medicine, and chairs the editorial board of Oncology Times.
