“I was glad to be reunited with the American Association for Cancer Research President Dr. Patricia LoRusso who had come for an official visit to my institution, the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.
Our discussion was surrounding how AACR can partner with KUTRRH to become a clinical trial site in Kenya, accelerate clinical research, training and capacity building. This will have a huge impact for the inclusivity of Sub Saharan Africa in taking part in clinical Trials. The future looks bright.”
