
The National Cancer Institute of Misrata in Libya Launches Its First Early Detection Project with the Support of UICC
Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“With support from UICC, the National Cancer Institute of Misrata in Libya has launched its first early detection project!
As part of the project, 46 female healthcare workers were trained to improve breast cancer detection, amid resource and cultural challenges, and introducing clinical breast examinations in polyclinics.”

“An inspiring initiative from Libya!
The National Cancer Institute of Misrata just launched a Breast cancer early detection project. Early detection is foundational to cancer control and patient outcome. UICC is proud to be associated with this initiative.”
