“The Colorectal Care Initiative is tackling two major challenges in colorectal cancer care.
- Goal 1: Raise screening rates to at least 80% and make sure patients with a positive noninvasive test get a timely colonoscopy—within three months.
- Goal 2: Ensure 80% of newly diagnosed patients receive both biomarker and genetic testing and begin treatment as soon as possible, ideally within six weeks.
