Terisa Tamang Led the Session on Mental Health in Schools at Enabling Innovations in Education Planning and Implementation Conference
Terisa Tamang, Founder, President and Counselor of Dhairya Cancer Foundation, shared a post on Linkedin:
“With the Dhairya Cancer Foundation team, I led the session on ‘Mental Health in Schools: Breaking the Silence, Building Support,’ as part of the Educational Conference on Enabling Innovations in Education Planning and Implementation organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
We brought together our psychologist Roshan Khatri as a panelist, alongside:
- Abhilasha Gurung, Health Specialist, UNICEF Nepal
- Binita Adhakari, AntarDrishti
The session was moderated by myself, Terisa Tamang, Founder and President of Dhairya Cancer Foundation.
Today’s discussion highlighted the urgent need to integrate mental health support into our schools so that no student has to suffer in silence.
Heartfelt thanks to the organizers, partners, speakers, and everyone who made this dialogue meaningful.
Together, we took an important step toward building compassionate and mentally healthy schools.”
