Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus: Celebrating the many lives saved thanks to commitments to maternal and child health
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This World Health Day, we celebrate the many lives saved thanks to commitments to maternal and child health. Women are more likely to survive pregnancy and childbirth than ever before.
But to deliver Hopeful Futures to everyone, all women need quality maternal care, no matter who they are or where they live.
The World Health Organization calls on all countries to step up their commitments and investments to promote, provide and protect the health of all mums and babies.”
