So excited to see this article featuring Trevor Maxwell and MAN UP TO CANCER as a part of growing ecosystem of support for men with cancer!
This organization, like many other advocacy organizations and non-profits began with identifying a gap and filling a need. As non-profit founders we don’t rub elbows with VC, discuss valuation, or consider our stock options but we sure as hell put in the sweat equity, have the hard fundraising conversations, and get shit done!
Kudos to the (growing) team at MUTC on the national recognition and huge gratitude to all the other advocates who put in the work to help make these organizations (including Advocates for Collaborative Education) run, typically on a volunteer basis.
You are all absolutely priceless. ”
