“I’m pleased to announce that our new launch journal AI in Precision Oncology has officially surpassed 50,000 full-text downloads—an exciting milestone for this new resource and a strong indicator of the growing global interest in the convergence of artificial intelligence and individualized cancer care.
Under the visionary leadership of Editor-in-Chief Douglas Flora the journal is grounded in a mission to accelerate equitable, data-driven oncology innovation—reflecting a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes through AI integration, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world impact.
Special thanks to Nikhil Thaker for his strategic leadership as Deputy Editor in contributing towards the journal’s impactful direction, and to our outstanding editorial board members— Oscar P., Tim Showalter, David Penberthy, Vivek Subbiah, Blythe Adamson, Harvey Castro, Kevin Davies, Bethany Hills Grois, Toufic Kachaamy and Sanjay Juneja to name a few, among other leading board members—for helping to make this vision a reality.
More to come as we continue building a dynamic, inclusive forum at the forefront of AI and oncology.”
Douglas Flora, Executive Medical Director of Oncology Services at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, shared this post on LinkedIn, adding:
“So thankful for all of your support. This peer-reviewed title fills an unmet need. It is so gratifying to see it’s rapid acceptance and growth. Thank you to everyone listed below, and all of you who have sent us your manuscripts, subscribed or sponsored our work.
We are always looking for good manuscripts. Please send us your original research, reviews/mini-reviews or reach out to me if you have ideas you’d like to share in invited editorial frontmatter.
Editorial Note: we are putting together a special issue on ctDNA/MRD right now, so especially interested in those this month!
Please tag me or AI in Precision Oncology when you find content on here that we should cover. It helps when you like, share, comment as well. This journal is for all of us, and the hope is to build a community that can help us all keep pace with all of these advancing technologies.”
