“In the last few months, virtual meetings have been developing breast and cervical cancer technical products. The experts finally had a physical meeting deliberating further on these products. It has been a great three days of in depth discussion on context specific products for the Region, user friendly. The challenge by the Team Lead for Cancer at WHO HQ Dr. Andre Ilbawi and Team Lead NCDs Management Dr. Kofi Nyarko was to develop products that go beyond the launch and actually get used.
Thank you to the wonderful experts inperson and virtual, from the Region and beyond for your honest discussions. The centre of these documents should be the woman seeking breast and cervical cancer services. The two most common cancers in our Region and the cause for cancer related deaths.”
