“Honorable UNITE Parliamentarians Network for Global Health liver cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide, claiming thousands of lives every year, yet many of these cases are preventable.
We urgently call for your leadership in addressing this silent crisis by enacting policies that promote early diagnosis, affordable treatment, and widespread awareness. Stronger health systems, vaccination programs, and public education can save lives, but it requires coordinated policy action.
Together, we can create a future where liver cancer is no longer a death sentence but a preventable and treatable condition. Let’s unite to make this vision a reality, ensuring health equity and hope for every community.”
