Shaban Juma: The transformative power of art to spark hope
Shaban Juma, Resident in Clinical Oncology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At Cancer Fight Tanzania We recently launched Painting for Cancer Awareness and Hope.
This remarkable event brought together an inspiring community of participants and brave cancer survivors.
Through an engaging paint session, a moving survivor story, and a powerful display session, we celebrated the transformative power of art to spark hope and elevate cancer awareness.
Every brushstroke during the event symbolized resilience, while the shared stories underscored our collective commitment to changing the narrative around cancer. We are proud of the unity and creativity that shone through, lighting up the shadows with hope and determination.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this event a meaningful success. Together, we continue to pave the way for a future where hope triumphs over adversity.”
